Shopping online, especially on unfamiliar sites, means you will never know what you will get. It is awful to place a wedding dress order on a site that is not verified or reliable. But on the other hand, the idea of spending so little on such a beautiful dress can be very tempting.
Hopefully, TikTok user lillypuhalla had a backup plan for her wedding dress. Because what she got was an absolute disappointment and she angrily shared it on TikTok.
Definitely too good to be true.
Lily shared, “I ordered a cheap dress that took 3 months, and after I got it, they deleted the website.”
The woman who realized that the price for the dress was unreasonably low had put her bar low. After waiting for three months, she got a totally different dress from the picture shown. She showed the dress and made a half-turn in the video.
“I thought it might be bad, but not this bad.”
A user asked if she could get a refund on the dress, but Lily gave up on that. She shared, “I’m just going to donate it to a thrift store and hopefully, a cute lil’ middle schooler will rock it with leggings or something.”
The site’s name as Lily showed in her TikTok was ‘Sodaclubs,’ but when you navigate to the site, it redirects you to ‘Styleoutlets’ instead. But when you go to their ‘About Us’ page, the site refers to itself as ‘prettylookings.’ This confirms that the site had changed its identity multiple times.
