Michael J. Fox makes heart-wrenching new statement after 30-year battle with Parkinson’s

Michael J. Fox, who has battled Parkinson’s disease for thirty years, gave a moving health report. Fox, a well-known campaigner, is unwavering in his battle against the illness despite the obstacles.

“It’s getting tougher,” he said in a recent interview, recognizing the growing challenges of living with Parkinson’s disease. Fox also disclosed that he had recently undergone spine surgery to treat a benign tumor that was impeding his movement and breaking multiple bones. To be clear, Parkinson’s does not cause death. Parkinson’s disease kills you. He said with conviction, “I’m not going to be 80.”

In his upcoming documentary “Still,” Fox discusses his battle with Parkinson’s disease and the excruciating agony and tremors he experiences. Fox maintains his optimism in the face of adversity, saying that he is “going nowhere.”
