Xscape’s Latocha Scott is responding to her sister Tamika’s Youtube video, alleging she and her husband, Rocky Bivens, stole $30,000.
Latocha said on Instagram that she isn’t aware of the money and doesn’t know what she’s talking about; ultimately, she wants to figure it out with her sister Tamika–without social media.
In the latest SWV Xscape: Queens of R&B episode, tensions have risen between the sisters and Tiny’s mom speaking about the alleged missing funds.
The singer questioned on Instagram Live if she took her sister’s money and immediately responded, “I did not.”
“We were going through so much…10..11..years ago together–as a family, it was one of the things, I can’t lie, we were both at our lowest. I didn’t have money. I ended–we all lived with my mother, and that’s something y’all will see on the show.”
“So when you talk about $30,000 that I don’t know anything about, all I said is, can we get clarity about it because, during that time, we both were helping one another? I just need clarity. What are you seeing cuz’ I have my receipts, and you have yours.”
“We need to sit down as sisters and not go through this on social media.”
“I’ve been convicted of being a thief, and I don’t even know what you’re talking about,” the Xscape member continued.
“I apologize to you, Tamika, if I didn’t hear you. If I didn’t hear your voice. I’m sorry. I’m trying my best to make it. I’m trying to weather storms in my own personal life. I’m not tryna negate how y’all’s feelings are; I have to still have peace within […] but when y’all see me looking like this, I’m in my feelings and I’m in my feelings when it comes down to my family.”
Latocha clarified that the two could work through this matter, and she was very emotional during the Instagram Live.
