Willow uses her identity to connect with others and is proud of it. I’m proud to be Black, too. Even if her parents are this and this and that, people would look at me and [say], “Well, she’s like me.” She still has dark skin. As everyone knows, this is a place of connection and it does not release you from any responsibility.
