Simone Biles is officially off the market!
On Saturday, the Olympic gymnast announced that she has finally tied the knot with Houston Texans football player Jonathan Owens.
The photos from the special day showed Biles and Owens taking their vows in what seemed like a courthouse wedding. Biles was dressed in a stunning white gown with multiple tiers, while Owens opted for a tan suit for the occasion.
Owens also posted images from the day but included more behind-the-scene shoots.
“My person, forever ❤️💍,” Owens wrote on Instagram, adding two hashtags: “#TheOwens” and “#ItsOfficial.”
Biles and Owens had a brief interaction at a Texans game in 2019, but the two athletes formally connected through the dating app Raya in March 2020. Notably, it was Biles who made the initial move.
Several months following, Biles confirmed her relationship with Owens publicly on Instagram with two endearing snapshots. The photos captured the duo snuggled up, with Owens planting a tender kiss on Biles. A month later, Owens posted images of himself and Biles, which further confirmed their relationship.
After two years of dating, the young couple announced their engagement in February 2022. Owens popped the question under a gazebo in Houston, Texas, while presenting Biles with an oval cut diamond ring that featured a band adorned with diamonds fashioned by the jeweler ZoFrost.
