Reality television star Evelyn Lozada has found love again and is engaged to businessman LaVon Lewis. The couple first met on the unaired dating show Queens Court. Lewis, who is the proprietor of his own marketing agency, proposed to Lozada during her 47th birthday celebration, which was attended by her family and close friends.
According to PEOPLE, only Lozada’s manager and two of Lewis’ acquaintances were aware of the proposal. The engagement ring was designed by Twila True and features a butterfly motif. Lewis intends to settle in Los Angeles once his son, Jordan, begins attending high school. Lozada has a son of her own, Leo Crawford, whom she shares with former professional baseball player Carl Crawford.

In 2010, Lozada began a relationship with NFL player Chad Ochocinco. They were engaged after four months, but their relationship ended in 2012 after Ochocinco allegedly headbutted Lozada during an argument over a condom receipt found in his car.
Lozada and Lewis plan to hold their wedding ceremony during the colder months of the year. The couple is currently in a long-distance relationship, as Lozada resides in Los Angeles, while Lewis’ home is in Georgia. Despite the distance, Lozada and Lewis’ son Jordan are close friends and frequently play together.
