Police have shared terrifying footage of a woman being abducted and whisked away in a minivan in New York.
The woman – who is still unidentified – was allegedly abducted off a street in Brooklyn at 1:45 AM on Friday (April 21) and whisked away in a minivan. One source described the whole scene as a “mystery”.
Authorities revealed that the incident took place at the intersection of Avenue W and Stillwell Avenue in Gravesend, per The New York Post.
Unfortunately, investigators are still baffled as to who the woman is and whether she knew the man. A source told the outlet: “She didn’t appear to be struggling like you would if it was a stranger.”
The same source revealed that the police department was working on expanding their video canvass to track down the location of the woman and the man, prior to the kidnapping, which was reported by a man who saw the incident unfold.
Fox News detailed how the abduction comes less than a month after a woman was beaten, shoved into a bus, and raped repeatedly for hours in Staten Island.
The police revealed that a man – 30-year-old Alexander Isaac – allegedly forced the victim into his Staten Island RV in early April morning before abusing her over several hours.
According to court documents obtained by the outlet, the suspect put the woman in handcuffs and leg shackles and covered her mouth while assaulting her. Nine hours later, she eventually managed to escape, walking to a police precinct blocks away from the location.
