Comedian Nick Cannon is making headlines after opening up about his desire to sire another child with a new woman. And that woman is the recently single pop star Taylor Swift who was in a 6-year relationship with Joe Alwyn. The father of 12 babies from six different women including Mariah Carey spoke on “The Howard Stern Show” with the host.
“Every time I answer this question I can never answer it correctly because I don’t know,” he answered when asked about his future family plan. He recalled that when he said he’d “leave it in God’s hands,” a lot of religious people were triggered.
That said he thought that he was “happy now with the dozen” that he got. Then Stern asked him if he could pick any woman to have his 13th baby, who would he choose?
He laughed, “I can see the headlines now.”
Stern egged him by mentioning names and when it comes to Taylor Swift, Cannon replied, “Absolutely. I’m in. Let’s go. That’s the one. That… I’m all in.”
When asked why the answer, Cannon praised her for being “open and vulnerable.”
“First of all, she’s an amazing songwriter and what I do love about Taylor Swift is the fact that she has been so open and vulnerable with all of her music since she was a young girl.”
“And, she’s kinda like me. Me and Taylor’s numbers are very similar when we’re talking about being out here in these streets.”
“I think she would relate to me very well, based off of like… yo, you’ve dated a lot of people in the public eye, so have I, so we probably would really understand each other.”
Swift had recently announced that she’s broken up from Joe Alwyn after 6 years together and Cannon said that he had a hunch.
“You know that I know that, Howard. You know my Spidey senses was tingling,” he reacted to the news. He previously had also shown his support for Swift during her feud with Kim Kardashian in 2016.
The comedian who has 12 kids with 6 different women also added that he’s a “provider” to the women he had kids with. He explained why he doesn’t use a fixed amount, “I don’t give myself that [guideline]. What they need, they get it. There’s never been something that one of the mothers of my children has asked for and they didn’t receive.”
