‘My daughter has been excluded for a day because she took off her blazer for being too hot. What would they rather, sit there and do the work or not? I honestly don’t see any issue with having their blazer off while working. I said I won’t be sending her home. It’s absolutely pathetic. And I agree there should be rules, but sometimes the atmosphere can get hot and it can hinder work done.’ Ms. Shann explained.
‘Summer is not excluded for not putting it on, she’s been excluded for being defiant’
She added: ‘Summer is not excluded for not putting it on, she’s been excluded for being defiant. It’s ridiculous the rules schools have presently. Students are just excluded for stupids things.’
