Megan Thee Stallion might be securing her next movie role in the upcoming Safdie brothers movie, where she could potentially co-star with Adam Sandler.
As per Deadline’s report, the Safdie brothers, Josh and Benny, have finalized the casting process for their new Netflix film that revolves around sports memorabilia, and Megan is among the names they are considering adding to the cast.
In late 2021, Megan entered into an exclusive first-look deal with Netflix, under which she will produce and oversee the creation of various new series and projects.
“I’ve always had a passion for telling creative and entertaining stories, so I’m thrilled about this partnership with Netflix,” she said in a statement. “Venturing into production is the next step in my journey as an entrepreneur and I can’t wait to bring all my ideas to life and for my Hotties to watch.”
Last year, it was revealed that the Houston-born artist would star in A24’s upcoming musical comedy, “Fucking Identical Twins.” The award-winning production house is set to deliver a “subversive” retelling of the popular 1998 film, “The Parent Trap.”
The exciting news comes just shortly after Megan won her legal case against Tory Lanez, who was convicted of shooting the rapper in the foot during a drunken dispute in July 2020.
