Megan Fox and her partner Machine Gun Kelly have debunked any split speculations as they both attended the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue launch party in NYC. The actress, 37, featured in the magazine’s glossy pages dazzled in a sheer black dress and despite the couple’s love display, Meghan was seen without her custom two-stone engagement ring given to her by MGK in January 2022.
The couple walked the launch party red carpet separately but were eventually spotted sharing intimate moments away from the public eye.
Over the past few months, rumors have been swirling about the couple’s relationship experiencing difficulties, largely due to allegations of infidelity surrounding the rapper-turned-rocker. The most recent public sighting of the couple was captured in photographs acquired by DailyMail, which showcased their vacation in Hawaii early last month.
Sources have disclosed that Megan Fox and MGK have now successfully navigated through the challenging phase and have reconciled.
The couple’s relationship journey began in May 2020, shortly after Megan’s separation from her husband of ten years, Brian Austin Green. MGK proposed to the Transformers star in January of the following year. However, on Thursday night, all eyes were on Megan as she celebrated her Sports Illustrated cover, which showed her modeling a barely-there body chain made of shells. Of her lunch party dress, the Jennifer’s Body actress stunned in a sheer long-sleeved bodice that showed her toned arms and sculpted torso.
The dress had a low-rise satin skirt that cascaded to the floor and instead of her signature raven hair Megan opted for a long auburn tress.
She embraced a go-to glamorous makeup style, with a sultry gaze defined by black eyeliner and shimmering brown eyeshadow. Her lips appeared noticeably plump, drenched with a glossy pink hue, while her angelic features were enhanced with bronzing powder. In a bold contrast to her black gown, Megan chose a vibrant bubblegum pink shade for her pointed manicure.
Despite being widely recognized as one of the sexiest women alive, Megan candidly revealed in her Sports Illustrated interview that she has always struggled with her self-image.
‘I have body dysmorphia. I don’t ever see myself the way other people see me,’ the mother-of-three confessed. ‘There is never a point in my life where I loved my body,’ she added. ‘Never, ever.’ Megan admitted that she became ‘obsessed’ with her appearance at an early age but that it wasn’t the result of her childhood. ‘It definitely wasn’t environmental because I grew up in a very religious environment where bodies weren’t even acknowledged,’ she explained. ‘The journey of loving myself is going to be never-ending, I think.’
Along with stealing the show, Megan didn’t hesitate to mingle with her fellow Sports Illustrated cover girls, spotted alongside Martha Stewart, who made history as the oldest woman to appear in the magazine.
Martha Stewart looked stunning in a plunging gold gown that featured a starburst design, embellished with countless sparkly bronze sequins. On the other hand, Megan’s fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly, walked the red carpet in a white pinstripe suit that created a bold contrast with his black leather combat boots. The Tickets To My Downfall artist teamed up with a pearl Vivienne Westwood necklace that rested just below the collar of his white button-up shirt.
