Kylie Jenner has revealed that becoming a mother has changed the way she views her own looks, and can see her natural beauty in her daughter Stormi.
The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, 25-year-old Kylie is mother to Stormi, five, and her son Aire, one, with Travis Scott, 31.
During a new interview, Kylie revealed that her children played a large part in changing how she views herself, and how her attitude to beauty has changed as a result.
She explained to HommeGirls magazine about how her outlook changed since becoming a mom: “Oh, it’s changed so much. It’s made me love myself more.
“I see my features in my daughter and my son now, but you know, my daughter looks like me. I get to see my beauty in her, and it’s made me love myself more for sure. Beauty is always changing for me.”
The Kylie Cosmetics founder famously had fillers in her lips at 17 years old after previously revealing they were an insecurity of hers growing up in the limelight.
Kylie had initially denied undergoing any cosmetic procedures and had claimed her larger lips were down to make-up trickery, before coming clean about actually having had fillers.
Addressing the subject during the 2021 KUWTK reunion, she told Andy Cohen: “I had really small lips, and I didn’t ever think about it until I had one of my first kisses and a guy said to me, ‘Oh my god, you’re such a good kisser, but you have such small lips,’ or something like that. From then on, I felt unkissable.
Kylie has also denied having any other tweaks to her face but praised the power of makeup and contouring to change the shape of a person’s features.
Having gone through her own journey, Kylie shared the words of advice she’d give Stormi, explaining: “That she’s perfect the way that she is. Be confident, always be confident in yourself.”
“Yeah, I love full lips and wanted full lips, but growing up I was always the most confident person in the room. I was the girl performing for everyone.
“I had my one lip insecurity thing, so I got lip filler, and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. I don’t regret it. But I always thought I was cute.”
