“Black Alien” Anthony Loffredo doesn’t look like your typical neighbor. He has a deep passion for body modification and began a decade-long journey to turn into an alien. He has cut several parts of his face and body, added implants, dyed, and turned into a “black alien.”
With all those mods, Anthony shared that his appearance is enough to instill fear in people in general. Kids would be scared of him and worse – he’s been refused at restaurants and warned to not scare people if he’s let in.
He shared, “If I want to eat at a restaurant, sometimes the server says I can’t eat on the terrace.”
Loffredo goes way further than just mere injections and full-body inking. He had his nose removed to reveal only the nostrils, his ears are gone, and his forehead has scars. He’d never suffered any form of face deformation, but he was never satisfied with his life. At the age of 24, he finally began his journey to become an alien.
In one interview, she shared, “It’s a fight every day, because every day you find new people who don’t understand, who want to judge. It’s life, not everyone understands everything. Like me, I don’t understand lots of things about lots of people.”
“You can’t judge someone. No one knows what’s inside someone’s head, why they’re doing that, you need to talk with this person.”
But he assures people that he’s nothing more than a normal guy with a family and friends, aside from his love for “mutations and transformations.”
He’s also developed a unique hobby that coincides with his appearance, “I love getting into the shoes of a scary character. I often settle down somewhere and play a role, especially at night in the dark streets. I explore the contrast between the role I play and myself.”
