It’s good to see well-known couples who cherish their marriages and families. The gorgeous couple from “1883,” Time McGraw and Faith Hill, have gone through tragedies and challenges just like any other family.
In 2022, they revealed that their 25-year-old daughter, Gracie, suffered from polycystic ovarian syndrome. (PCOS).
At the time, they were showered with love and support, and most recently, Gracie updated everyone on her condition via social media.
“I would just like to quickly share that I was recently diagnosed with PCOS, or polycystic ovarian syndrome.” I met two of the five PCOS traits required for a proper diagnosis, and I had three.
In the article, Gracie added, “We decided to try a medicine to regulate my body more normally and create the tools to continue to keep my body and myself healthy as I get older after realizing during my appointment with my endocrinologist that may had been a factor in my issues with weight.”
“I’m learning to navigate the new blemishes but I don’t think that I would have ever allowed myself to go to a doctors appointment like this unless I had taken the correct steps toward my mental health, because as much as physical health is important, mental goes hand and hand,” Gracie said, fully disclosing the nature of her condition.
Online supporters of the young McGraw have praised her for being open about her illness.
For women of childbearing age, PCOS is a relatively prevalent hormone issue that can result in excessive levels of androgens and infertility. Some people also develop little cysts on their ovaries. PCOS not only causes irregular menstrual periods but can also result in weight gain, acne, infertility, and excessive hair growth.
“Sending love to people who are going through a similar situation, or really anything at all. Mental well-being is quite difficult! Although it’s a long path, we can get there,” the celebrity continued.
“I hope someone who can connect to my predicament has been made aware of my experience. P.S. My current medication has given me a body I haven’t had in years—possibly ever. I’m learning to adore her even if it’s difficult to navigate.
Following the young woman’s honesty, admirers praised her and referred to her as “brave” and “beautiful.”
Regretfully, Gracie has experienced a lot in regards to her physical appearance. In 2021, she was teased about her appearance, but in response, she danced and welcomed the body shamer!
“After looking in the mirror today, I felt good about who I am. I finally went to a store and chose the biggest size dress they had, which was an 8 (btw), even though I wear a 10. The woman who worked there practically pulled the dress away from me and told me, “That’s not going to fit you,” she wrote at the top of the caption. “Well, first of all, obviously, because it’s not my size?, and secondly, it really offended me that she snatched the dress from me and told me out loud that I was too fat for it,” the woman wrote on Instagram.
“The main reason it upset me was that a lot of stores only display smaller sizes, and when you try on their larger sizes, they don’t even reach your knees,” the woman said, adding that it wasn’t only that she was essentially labeling me too big. “I’ve been wearing the same size jeans for the past two or three years, but every time I try on a new brand—or even the same one I used to own—the size 30 always seems smaller, despite the fact that my body hasn’t changed in size. Not only do they have pants, but virtually everything.
Gracie’s entire family, including Tim McGraw, is naturally behind her. Tim declared his love for his daughter in 2020 and used the following words to do so:
Our eldest daughter, Gracie, is an actor in Los Angeles and she inspires me daily with her strength and independence as a young woman who doesn’t hesitate to voice her opinions.
Gracie has obviously chosen to keep her genuineness unaffected by her disability. Please share your thoughts about her bravery and honesty in the comments section below!
