After wanting to lead a healthy lifestyle, actress and comedian Roseanne Barr made a significant relocation to her macadamia nut farm in Hawaii.
She even chose to have a diet richer in plant-based foods!
The aspirant farmer has been enjoying a quiet life on the 46-acre property with her longtime partner Johnny Argen.
In 2007, Barr purchased the 2,212-square-foot Hawaiian hideaway for $1.78 million. It boasts breathtaking 360-degree views of the lush grounds around the property.
With three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, the home has been Barr’s tranquil haven throughout her final years.
Barr enjoys taking her granddaughters to the farm because of the serene settings. One day, she shared a sweet picture of herself and her granddaughters strolling across a big patch of grass. It captured a special moment between a grandmother and her grandkids.
Fans couldn’t help but comment on how different the famed comedian she used to be was from the grandma character she currently portrays, even as they enjoyed the beautiful moment.
When Barr shared a picture of herself soundly sleeping amidst boxes, clothes, and a laptop, it offered an honest glimpse into her life. Joking about the picture, Instagram users captioned it, “Shop till you drop.” In fact, one user said, “Fire your housekeeper!!!!”
“No, she doesn’t need to fire her housekeeper [sic],” another individual remarked. She is the one responsible for the entire catastrophe! It’s very sad to watch her like way! Quite gloomy! I know that no one is perfect. But with her level of celebrity, nobody would want to see her in this state! You have every right to express that because, well, everyone has bad days occasionally, but really—no way! You are far better than that!
A third person wrote, “I love Roseanne, but I thought you were [sic] looking at a homeless camp [illegal substance] addict who passed out.”
Oh no. People can be quite impolite at times!
Roseanne is clearly still respected for her humor and sincerity in spite of the opposing opinions, whether she is navigating farm life or having private moments.
