Celebrities have been opening up about their introductions to romance. For many, it appears they got started super young. Countless people have come forward about their first time and with whom. Chris Brown might have the wildest account, admitting he was 8-years-old when he experienced his first time. Let’s take a look at a few other confessions.
Gabrielle Union has opened up about how she discovered self-pleasure at the age of five. In her book, We’re Gonna Need More Wine; Union says that she began playing with her teddy bears very young and understood that it felt good but did not fully know why. Eventually, Union was able to ‘connect the dots’ but confessed to having a lot of general confusion surrounding her anatomy for a long time. During an interview with Sway’s Universe during her book promotion, Union expressed that it took her a while to make sense of it all.
Jada Pinkett Smith says that her daughter Willow was exposed pretty early on, thanks to Tumblr. The future “Whip My Hair” hitmaker had an account where she starred some content at the age of 11. Jada says that Willow decided to show her mom her Tumblr but prefaced it by saying, “I’m going to my Tumblr page, but as we’re going to the Tumblr page, you’re going to see a lot of stuff. This has nothing to do with me.” Willow admits that being able to speak to her mother about it early helped her develop a healthier relationship with intimacy.
Other moms have been instrumental in helping their kids too. Jim Jones broke the internet last year when he confessed that his mother taught him how to tongue kiss when he was a child. Mama Jones took to social media to defend herself, saying, “Everybody needs to understand, you’re taking it wrong. I am not a nasty mother. All I am is a mother that was teaching my son exactly how to survive and how to actually be able to deal with a woman.”
Anthony Anderson’s mother took a similar approach. The Black-ish star says his mother taught him and his friends how to please women. During an interview with Conan O’Brien, he said that while home on vacation from college, his mother showed him and his friends videos to help them learn how to properly please a woman. She also taught the female friends what they needed to do as well.
Chris Brown did not have an adult walk him through the process; instead, his cousins were his teachers. At the age of 8 years old, Chris Brown says he got busy with a 14-year-old girl in his neighborhood . “I wasn’t afraid. So, at eight, being able to do it, it kind of preps you for the long run, so you can be a beast at it. You can be the best at it,” the singer admitted.
