American actor, playwright, and producer Chadwick Boseman is best known for his portrayal of T’Challa, the Black Panther, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Born in 1976 in Anderson, South Carolina, Boseman began his career as a writer and director before achieving success as an actor.
Boseman’s acting career began in earnest in the middle of the 2000s, with appearances on a number of television programmes and indie films. However, it was his portrayal of Jackie Robinson in the 2013 biopic “42” that propelled him to prominence. His portrayal of the legendary baseball player earned him critical acclaim for its sensitivity and depth of character.
The portrayal of T’Challa in the 2018 Marvel film “Black Panther” cemented Boseman’s position as one of Hollywood’s brightest stars.
