To meet their son, they travelled to the NICU. He weighed four pounds, five ounces at 33 weeks. Jarvis was able to grasp the wrapped infant in his hand.
The premature child was fed through the nose tube. While working, Sadie and Jarvis spent the day at the hospital with the infant. Finally, his feeding tube vanished.
He may accompany the Sampsons home. On the advice of the doctors, they brought their infant home. Ezra Lee was adopted in October 2020 and delighted his adoptive parents.
