Customers rage over door sign, restaurant’s response is brilliant

Perhaps a lot of you are familiar with the veterans discount. The men and women who make up the police force are the reason we live in a safe and law-abiding society.

Notwithstanding the fact that their work is among the most important and demanding in our country, a lot of people feel they are underpaid.

Recently, a KFC location in Ohio made the decision to join in. The store’s posting of the notice sparked a number of internet responses.
In general, the store policy allowed everyone wearing uniforms to dine for free, regardless of the time or day. The first plan was to give local officers a discount on chicken as a way of saying thank you. In the end, more online attention was going to be directed against this new policy.

This picture was shared on the Ohio Going Blue Facebook page, sparking a lot of conversations.

Even with more than 10,000 likes and 6,000 shares, there were a variety of opinions.

Many questioned if it was really necessary to make this offer to the cops. Additional comments suggested that they would rather not receive special treatment and would even cover the cost themselves as an officer. Administrators of Facebook pages comment:
