Rapper 6ix9ine was brutally assaulted by a group of men at a South Florida gym on Tuesday, resulting in severe injuries that required hospitalization, TMZ reports. According to his attorney, Lance Lazzaro, the attack occurred without warning while 6ix9ine was inside the sauna at an LA Fitness. Despite attempting to defend himself, he was overwhelmed by the group of attackers and left with extensive gashes, swelling, and injuries to his jaw, ribs, and back.
Gym staff intervened and contacted emergency services, and 6ix9ine was transported to a hospital by ambulance. Although the motive for the attack remains unknown, Lazzaro has expressed his intention to contact the Federal authorities to ensure that his client is protected.
