Gabriella Landolfi said yes to the man who initially just meant to be friends with her after working as a topless waiter at her divorce party.
Gabriella held a divorce party for fun with her friends after it was finalized. They hired a bunch of topless waiters for fun, and one of them was John Landolfi. Yes, you read that right! The man shared the same surname as the 29-year-old recently single woman!
Gabriella was surprised when she saw a text message that came in the next day after the party from John. The conversation was as simple as the man asking if Gabriella was fine. Things just went well from there.
Gabriella, who works as a humanities teacher in Australia, shared, “I never expected to get into a relationship with the topless waiter I hired for my divorce party, let alone marry him. But when I got to know him, I could see what an amazing guy he was.”
“It was quite the whirlwind, and I’m so glad I hired him.”
She admitted that she thought John was “too into his looks” but realized that she “couldn’t have been more wrong. And she now can’t stop gushing over how she has “the most beautiful family.”
John added, “When I saw Gabbie, I thought she was cool, and I wanted to get to know her. I was just looking for a friendship, and I never expected to find my wife. I was doing my job, and I never thought this would happen.”
John married Gabriella with his daughter from a previous relationship. Even though the family went through a devastating period in November when Gabriella, who has PCOS, had a miscarriage just weeks before their wedding, they now are a family of four as the family welcomed Matteo, their baby boy, in July 2021.
