Radical Texas Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett made a shocking admission during a live interview this week that drew lots of negative responses.
She told the hosts of the popular radio show, New York City-based “The Breakfast Club,” that she was cheering for foreign nations against the United States, the nation she swore an oath to protect, serve and defend.
“The fact that I’m rooting for Canada and I’m rooting for Mexico a lot is really wild,” she said to the hosts. “But they are really the ones that are speaking truth to power right now… They can see what it is, and they were like, ‘We are not messing with this crazy regime from Mar-a-Lago and basically calling them thugs.’”
“That’s what it is, but I’m like, y’all knew who he was when y’all elected him, so don’t act surprised,” she added.
During a Wednesday appearance on the ABC Daytime talk show “The View,” she made he baseless claim that people do not “understand” President Donald Trump is attempting to “get rid of the Constitution … with a pen.”
“You will understand when those hospitals in rural America start closing down even more. You will understand when you don’t have your Social Security. You will understand when your Medicaid, your Medicare, goes away,” the controversial congresswoman said. “You will understand as planes continue to fall out of the sky.”
“We know that, typically, when people are feeling it, especially in the economy, they tend to just go the other way. The problem is that this wasn’t the guy to fix anything. This is the guy that is the king of breaking things,” she said.
Crockett was also among a group of Democrats, led by California Rep. Maxine Waters, who held a rally recently protesting Elon Musk’s access to information at the Treasury Department.
“We have got to tell Elon Musk that nobody elected your ass. Nobody told you you could get all of our private information. Nobody told you you could be in charge of the payments of this country,” Waters yelled during the event.
While Musk was not actually elected, his boss — Trump — was, and by a significant amount over former Vice President Kamala Harris. Also, most senior advisors and Cabinet members of any administration were not elected, either, but serve at the pleasure of the president.
Waters went on to baselessly accuse Musk of monopolizing the earnings of ordinary Americans to fund SpaceX and his other business endeavors.
“We have told you that you’ve made enough money off our government yourself, and now you want to take everybody else’s payroll and make sure that they don’t make the kind of money that you’ve made. Oh, you want to use our money to go to Mars,” Waters said.
Other Democrats railed at Musk and hurled insults and epithets at him. “Elon Musk is a Nazi nepo baby, a godless lawless billionaire, who no one elected,” Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., screeched at the same rally.
“Elon, this is the American people. This is not your trashy Cybertruck that you can just dismantle, pick apart, and sell the pieces of,” she said, adding: “We will see you in the court, in Congress, in the streets.”
“Elon Musk is seizing the power that belongs to the American people,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., said while shaking her fist alongside Waters. “We are here to fight back.”
