The pair first connected more than ten years ago when Sandera was a hostess at Eastwood’s Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. Despite being spotted together at many Hollywood events, including as the 2015 Academy Awards, their romance remained largely quiet.
With eight children from his past unions and partnerships, Eastwood thought back on Sandera’s influence on his life. “I will miss Christina very much; she was a lovely, caring woman,” Eastwood said in his statement. No other information regarding Sandera’s passing will be made public at this time, according to his representative.
